On the 20th June 2008, in a small local bar on the main street in the village of Turunc, I watched Turkey play Craotia with my Turkish and English friends. It was a great game to watch, maybe not as skillful but fast and furious. When it went to penalties we all knew we could win and win we did. Suddenly fireworks, flares and then the procession of cars and bikes hit the main street, horns blaring and flags flying. Somehow I don’t think the police would allow it in the UK, but thank goodness this isn’t England. The video quality isn’t great but enjoy.
